Street of Dreams - 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, & 2015

Street of Dreams – 2011

This home was RK Electric’s first Street of Dreams home and what a beauty it is! Thanks to Pahlisch Homes we were able to participate in one of Oregon’s top home showcases. This home has it all! From lighting control to a hot tub in the back. Wiring custom homes is one of our specialties.

Street of Dreams – 2012

Second year in a row! Pahlisch Homes does it again. With elegant lighting throughout the home and a pond with a fountain and waterfall in the outdoor living space, this home is top notch. Tall ceilings with ceiling fans and directional can lighting make for a comfortable living space. Don’t forget the media room! If you can “Dream it” we can wire it.

Street of Dreams – 2013 Lot #8

This is one of Pahlisch Homes' TWO Street of Dreams homes! 2013 was a busy year at the Street of Dreams for RK Electric! This home features automation by Control 4. You can control the lights, thermostat and sound system throughout the house, and the built-in hot tub. Yes, there is a media room and a bonus room with a wet bar.

Street of Dreams – 2013 Lot #12

The second of TWO Pahlisch Homes does not come in second in design or feel. The lighting in this home is like no other. We have decorative hanging fixtures throughout the home with one hanging from a mirrored ceiling. A hidden bookshelf door leads you to the upstairs kids’ room with a beautiful chandelier you can see from the road. The pool out back has a built-in slide which required RK to wire pumps and controls so when the safety cover opens the slide turns on automatically.

Street of Dreams – 2013 Lot #4

Welcome to the first “Made in America” home ever to be showcased in a street of Dreams venue! RK Electric wired the first “Made in America” (MIA) home in Oregon! This home can be found in Lake Oswego and was built by Westlake Development Group, LLC. We worked together to build this home completely out of materials manufactured in the states which was a huge success! It gained both local and national attention with an ABC World News segment highlighting the American made materials all the way down to the nuts and bolts.

The excitement it created led to the construction of more! The latest efforts took us to the Home and Garden Show 2013, where we wired the show home in which all of the products used were made in America.

Collecting our products, which includes can lights, wire and much more, from companies who reside in America has brought a new sense of American pride to the workplace. We value our fellow Americans and are doing our part to bring jobs back to the states. Please join us in the effort and make your next home a Made in America home.

Portland Rescue Mission – The Harbor

The Harbor, formerly known as NextStep, is where men engage in Portland Rescue Mission’s New Life Ministry which focuses on addictions recovery, spiritual renewal and life skills, including counseling, education and vocational training. All of us at RK Electric were proud to be a part of remodeling the complete facility. This project took over a year to complete. From a new 600amp service to the last light and plug installed, RK Electric wired it all.

Portland Rescue Mission – Burnside Shelter

Another great Portland Rescue Mission facility! We remodeled the 3rd and 4th floor of the Burnside Shelter this year, but before we started the remodel, we changed out the complete electrical service. The service change had to be completed during the middle of the night as PGE had to shut down a portion of the electrical grid in Portland. We had a crew of 6 electricians working hard and fast to complete the install before the sun came up. We were done by 5am and power was back on as if we were never there. Now the building can support growth for years to come.

Jamba Juice – Murray Scholls

One of many Jamba Juice locations we wired is the Murray Schools site. This project was a completely new tenant build-out. All new LED recessed can lights were used to light up the blender bar where all of your favorite Jambas are made. While we were wiring Jamba Juice, the tenant adjacent to the space hired us to wire his liquor store as he liked what he saw. We also maintain the electrical systems at all Jamba Juice locations around the Portland Metro area.
